Sophia Gonzalez turned in a pair of stellar performances to start off her collegiate career. The freshman goalkeeper racked up 10 saves with a .50 goals against average and 90.9% save percentage. She made seven saves and picked up a shutout victory in a 2-0 win over Wilkes University in the season opener. Gonzalez then had three saves in the Nittany Lions 1-0 setback to Moravian University.
