Chad Evans started off the season on a strong note, batting .444 (4-for-9) with two doubles, four RBI, and three runs scored. The senior third baseman was 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored against Eastern Nazarene College. Evans followed it up by going 2-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs scored against Kean University.
