Penn State Berks Athletics

Alexis Schoener turned in a solid performance in the Nittany Lions tilt with nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins University this past week. The sophomore forward netted a pair of goals and created a couple other scoring opportunities in the 4-2 setback to the No. 6 ranked Blue Jays. In the first half, Megan Jardine had a free kick go off the crossbar and Schoener was able to put the rebound in for the score. In the second half, Jardine drove a free kick into the box and Schoener deflected over the keeper for the goal.
