Brianna Smith played a big part in leading the Berks softball team to its third straight NEAC Championship title. The sophomore catcher/first baseman was named the the NEAC Tournament MVP after batting .889 (8-for-9) with one double, one home run, three runs scored, and two RBI. Smith was 3-for-3 with a homer, one RBI, and three runs scored in the tournament opening win over Keuka. She followed that up by going 2-for-3 with an RBI against Penn College on Friday. Against Penn College on Saturday in the title game, Smith was 3-for-3 with a double and a walk.
