Toby Welk continued his dominating ways at the plate to lead the Nittany Lions to a 3-0 record this past week. The senior shortstop batted .667 (8-for-12) with two doubles, three home runs, eight RBI, eight runs scored, and one stolen base. He finished the week with five extra base hits and had a 1.583 slugging percentage, to go along with a .667 on-base percentage. Welk was 2-for-3 with two homers, three RBI, and two runs scored in a 4-0 win over Cazenovia College. He ended the weekend series with a 4-for-5 performance to go along with one home run, five RBI, and three runs scored in a win on Sunday.
