Ashley Malek had a stellar week at the plate for the Nittany Lions, batting .611 (11-for-18) with a double, two home runs, seven RBI, and six runs scored. In NEAC action, the junior catcher batted .750 (9-for-12) with a pair of two-run home runs. Malek recorded at least one hit in every contest this past week and is currently riding a nine-game hitting streak.
