Baba Waples scored a single-game school record 53 points in the same game that he surpassed the 1,000 point career mark against the College of Saint Elizabeth on Tuesday evening. In that game, Waples tied the school record with eight 3-pointers made. The senior guard finished the week with a 35.7 scoring average with a very efficient 56.7 shooting percentage from the floor and 58.3% from 3-point range.
