Amy Shelton, who was named the NEAC Player of the Year and was an All-NEAC First Team selection, led the Nittany Lions to a runner-up finish in the playoffs. She combined for 27 kills, 17 digs, seven solo blocks and three block assists. Shelton finished the 2011 season with 363 kills and 88 total blocks.
