Nick Volk turned in a solid all-around performance in the Nittany Lions season opener. Volk started the day with an 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles, where he teamed up with freshman Diego Olagazasti. Volk followed that up with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at the fifth singles flight.
