Sean Pavlik struck out a career-high 11 batters in eight shutout innings of three-hit ball in a win over Gallaudet University on Saturday afternoon.. The sophomore right-hander struck out two batters in four out of the first five innings, and rung up six of the batters looking. Pavlik lowered his ERA to 1.84 for the season and has recorded 31 strikeouts in 29.1 innings pitched and his four wins are the most in the conference.
