Sophia Zhang played some of her best volleyball this past weekend and it could not have come at a better time. The sophomore outside hitter crushed 26 kills in a 3-1 win over SUNY Polytechnic in the NEAC quarterfinal round. The 26 kills were a career-high and matched a single-game school record. She followed it up with 19 kills in a semifinal round win over Wells College. Zhang recorded 12 kills against Gallaudet University in the NEAC title game.
