In last week's action, Jess Epler batted .692 (8-for-13) with seven runs scored, six RBI, two doubles, and three home runs. She hit a solo home run on Sunday against Swarthmore College to give her the single-season school record with five. In the pitcher's circle, Epler went 3-1 with four complete games. She compiled 19 strikeouts and issued only three walks. In a 3-0 win over Swarthmore, Epler allowed only one hit, while striking out four batters.
