Smith had a career-high 31 points in the Nittany Lions victory over Gallaudet University in the regular season finale. He shot 14-for-19 from the floor in the win against the Bison. He racked up 23.0 points per game, while shooting 60.0% from the floor in the three contests. Smith also averaged 8.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game.
